Let us introduce ourselves
Chef Rafael Garcia was the Chef and Owner of Rafa’s Kitchen Catering. He held more than 20 years of restaurant and catering experience. Born in Leon, Guanajuato, Rafa’s earliest memories of cooking were at the side of his grandmother Maria Isabel, where she taught him the recipes native to interior Mexico. That foundation inspired Rafa to pursue a career in cooking and he graduated from Le Cordon Bleu with a degree in Culinary Arts. After years in the restaurant industry, as an executive chef and then as a personal chef, Rafa built a commercial kitchen in Marble Falls to pursue his dream of starting his own business. While Chef Rafa was classically trained in French Cuisine, his experience and versatility allowed him to create custom menus, designed specifically to his customers tastes and needs. Rafa used his knowledge of food and culture to inspire his staff to create amazing food and continue Rafa’s legacy.
